Our motto for September is joy of the heart

Dear customers,
September is a transition from late summer to the beginning of autumn. Our winemakers have already started the grape harvest, and then as now, everyone is helping together.

A common meal with the respective regional specialties is also traditional during the harvest. In Burgundy, for example, fine cheese cakes are served with Petit Chablis.

Our cuisine is also more of a mix of light summer dishes, such as grilled sea bass, accompanied by our Sauvignon from the Trentino family winery La Cadalora , or on rainy days a warming Indian curry, accompanied by creamy Gewürztraminer from the Alsatian winery Boeckel .

On warm days, enjoy the delicately spicy Médoc from Seignouret Freres with the grilled burger or the elegant Fiore di Vigna Primitivo from Paolo Leo with the tender beef fillet.

A Barbera d`Alba Superiore 2011 is ideal to accompany the first game dishes on early autumn days.

On cool, rainy weekends, you can unwind while listening to old chansons and a Caffé Corretto, mixed with the full-bodied Grappa Vite d'Oro from Bepi Tosolini.

Regardless of the weather in September, we enjoy the days as they come with good wine, food and music and we look forward to our news from Italy and Austria together.

We wish our winemakers a good harvest and we wish you, dear customers, many relaxed, enjoyable moments!

Your Milanko family and their team
